I am passionate about using and breaking layout grids in editorial design, taking photos of talented artists and musicians, crafting the most optimal lighting for conceptual, fashion, and journalistic photography, and religiously making prints by hand in the black and white and color darkroom.
Yes, I take my shoes off before entering my house and have 10 pairs of free collected hotel slippers on rotation (it’s an immigrant thing). Yes, my Russian parents told me that of course my sexuality is fluid as they quote, “After all, you’re an artist.”
Yes, my mama was the first love of my life, and everything I create has been and will be in her honor.
